TO ALL ORIENTAL BAND SECRETARIES
The work of the Secretary/Treasurer would be greatly facilitated if the guidelines given below and the accompanying instruction sheet is followed.
 

With regard to the membership forms, PLEASE TYPE. This will eliminate many mistakes in names, addresses, etc., by the Secretary and the Na Khabar Editor. Please complete the information requested including designating the Na Khabar address as a private residence or commercial establishment.
 

Commencing in 2003, dues are $10.00 per member. Only those in good standing with their Band and Temple may be members of the Association of Shrine Oriental Bands. YOUR DUES ARE DUE ON OR BEFORE JANUARY 31st. Those not current on March 1st will be dropped from the mailing list for Na Khabar. Since only enough are printed to satisfy current membership, back issues are not available. Further, only articles received from Bands in good standing will be published.

NOTE TO CANADIAN SECRETARIES ONLY: In addition to the above, PLEASE PAY YOUR DUES IN CANADIAN FUNDS. All hotel reservations, Na Khabar ads, supplies, etc., must be paid BY MONEY ORDER OR CHEQUE IN U.S. FUNDS.

DUES FORMS INSTRUCTIONS
Please use the forms (clink on the link for Microsoft Word or PDF formats), this will insure all required information is given.

The Membership Forms are to be mailed to the ASOB Secretary together with the remittance in the total amount of Dues reported on the basis of $10.00 per member. Only members in good standing with your Band and their Temple are eligible for membership in ASOB.

The ENTIRE LISTING should be prepared with the names in ALPHABETICAL order and TYPEWRITTEN OR COMPUTER PRINTED PLEASE. Be sure to include the names, addresses, and phone numbers of your Band President, Secretary, Director, and where you wish shipment of NaKhabar to be sent. It is imperative these addresses be submitted CORRECTLY to avoid delay in NaKhabar to be sent. Please include all member's names, addresses, and phone number if you have them available.

All cheques covering Dues accompanying return of these forms should be in the exact amount due for the members you are reporting and payable to the Association of Shrine Oriental Bands.

We urge you to enroll your Illustrious Potentate as a member. In reading the NaKhabar, he will learn more about our organization. Please include him in the alphabetical listing and include dues for him.

There is considerable time involved in compiling necessary reports for the ASOB and the Editor of NaKhabar. Your prompt response in returning these forms will be greatly appreciated. However, it will be helpful if you obtain as many of your regular members as possible before returning the list. You may add additional members as they are enrolled.

All addresses are checked by the Editor to ascertain changes to avoid delays in receipt of your magazines. March issues will be sent only to Bands reported in good standing as of January 31st.

Please fill out the forms in full, including designating where you wish the NaKhabar sent, Le. the name of the Noble to receive shipment; place (home, temple, shrine club, business), and zip or postal code.
